Calling all adventure seekers!! Join us for six days in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia for learning and backpacking. This tour kicks off with a homecooked welcome dinner at a beautiful lodge located on 100 wooded acres. We will spend one day participating in a backpack and survival 101 course hosted by a well-known outdoor adventure school. The next day we grab our backpacks and hit the Appalachian Trail. We will tackle 33 miles of the section known as the “triple Crown”. This is a very challenging yet rewarding hike with the most epic views of the entire AT. After 3 days of backpacking (2 nights in tent) we will return to the lodge for hot showers and a warm meal. This tour requires a 50% deposit and an interview after registration (see cancellation policy). This tour offers 6 NBCC CE on Nature Based Therapeutic Interventions, two trail guides, one day outdoor adventure course, 3 nights lodging, 7 meals, shuttle service, and more.
