Coaching

Book Dr. Dawn

Yes, I would love to be your coach!

As a counselor educator, presenting and teaching are second nature. I have years of experience in private practice, leadership, and teaching. I also spent many years working as a regional director in a local mental health agency. During that time, I opened a private practice and worked as an adjunct professor teaching counseling techniques and methods. I’ve developed and facilitated numerous trainings for mental health workers and therapists on varies topics, including crisis management, treatment, documentation, and more. Being a counselor educator fits very well with my love of teaching on the topic of mental health.

Over the past five years I have focused my attention on creating innovative counselor education opportunities. I started developing and hosting outdoor retreats for psychotherapists. I’ve also developed multiple online and in-person training courses. Through thousands of hours and many YouTube videos, I taught myself how to use Kartra, Kajabi, MailChimp, ConvertKit, and many other programs. I have hosted online webinars and consortiums for therapists of all levels. I have dedicated many hours to becoming a continuing education provider. What I have accidentally become known for is… how to better cover your ass! I have created business plans, checklists, a professional will template, documentation guidelines, contracts, agreements, retreat workbooks, and more.

In the midst of all this, I hired numerous coaches and paid high dollar for several fancy programs. I know what it’s like to feel pulled in multiple directions and leaving a call more confused that when you started. My style of coaching is very direct and solution-focused. I want you to feel confident in your plan and your ability to meet your dreams. I want you to feel heard and supported. I firmly believe you know what needs to be done but getting there is sometimes overwhelming. I can help!

If you need help schedule a one-hour call and let’s talk. You’ve got this!
